CBD, cannabidiol, is the flowering part of cannabis. Otherwise known as the bud on the marijuana for those experienced users!
Will CBD Make Me High?
Although CBD and THC come from the same plant, CBD will not make you high. THC, delta-9 tetrahydrocannabinol, is the most active ingredient in marijuana and is not found in CBD. THC is the compound that creates a “high” effect in Marijuana. CBD does not contain THC and will not change a person’s state of mind. There are claims that it has many benefits. Some research has claimed that it has multiple medical benefits.
Marijuana farmers selectively breed their plants for medicinal purposes or for personal use. The legalization of CBD for medicinal purposes and THC for recreational purposes, in many states, allows users a pure quality plant. The legalization allows the public access to 100% pure CBD oils!
How Does CBD Work?
Our bodies produce cannabinoids. In fact, every living thing on earth with a vertebrate has an endocannabinoid system, ECS. The job of our ECS is to keep our bodies balanced but as we age. Like most everything else, our ECS tends to wear down. Disease and injury also have an effect on our ECS and we can become cannabinoid deficient. ECS regulates memory, pain, mood, appetite, sleep, and much more.
Plant based cannabinoids naturally stimulate your own ECS. Once CBD is used your ECS re-balances your body. This help with chronic anxiety, depression, … .
What Are The Benefits?
The first direct reference to marijuana goes back to China in 2737 BCE. This first known use of cannabis product was used for the THC, or psychoactive agents.
The medical benefits are plentiful! In 2007, CA Pacific Medical Center reported that CBD may prevent cancer from spreading, based on breast cancer cells in a lab. The outcome was promising as the cancer was less aggressive. The American Assoc. for Cancer Research found marijuana can slow down tumor growth in the breast, lungs and brain!
Following are but a few benefits:

I’m sure that I missed a few! Basically, this is a natural remedy for much of what hurts us. It is also a natural “high” for those, in legal areas, that want to use it as such.
First, know the difference between CBD and Hemp oil. I have found that many companies will happily sell hemp oil at a lower cost, but it is not CBD oil. Hemp oil has many medicinal qualities, but it is not CBD oil.
Follow the links below for more information of CBD Oil:
The best application for CBD oil is to place the drops underneath your tongue and hold it in place for about 60 seconds. This allows for absorption through the blood vessels located underneath the tongue. Then just swallow the remaining CBD oil. Using this method to ingest, you should begin feeling the effects in within minutes.
Another option is to ingest CBD through vaping. Similar to sublingual, under the tongue, the effects will take effect in minutes.
Eating products with CBD is a tasty method but can take 20 minutes up to an hour to feel the effects. In this case it’s best to use CBD on an empty stomach. Another method would be to add drops to a beverage.
Always begin with a low serving size and work up from there slowly, if necessary.
Where Can You Find Pure CBD Oil?
It’s not like going to the “that” part of town and looking for the idiot standing on the corner. There are many legal avenues to purchase CBD oils. If you Google it you’ll have thousands of options. I would suggest being careful that you are indeed getting CBD instead of hemp. Again, hemp is definitely beneficial but if it’s CBD you’re looking for keep your eyes open. The cheapest option most likely isn’t the best.
When looking online try sticking to vendors that use third-party lab testing. Hemp and CBD oils are expensive to produce at high quality so be careful of cheap offers. Many of my associates use Hempworx with great results. In the very near future I will be using their product and will keep you advised of my progress. Thank you for reading my article. Remember, these are just my opinions and I could be wrong. I am not a medical doctor nor do I play one on TV. Medicinal benefits may or may not happen with CBD or Hemp oils, but I’m sure gonna try!
